Bioma – Where Architecture Meets Nature
Bioma is a premium real estate development by Nortis, designed to integrate urban living with nature. Located in the heart of Itaim, one of São Paulo’s busiest neighborhoods, Bioma stands out as a true oasis—bringing lush greenery into the city’s landscape. The project embodies the concept of biophilia, ensuring that every architectural element harmonizes with natural elements, light, and space.
Our Challenge

Nortis partnered with Rebu Studio to reposition its brand, aiming for a more humanized and “solar” identity. Our mission was to translate this new positioning into a compelling visual narrative that showcased Bioma’s uniqueness. The goal was not just to highlight the design but to create an emotional connection with future residents by emphasizing the seamless blend between nature and modern living.
Creative Approach

We spent two months in pre-production, carefully planning every detail. This included:
• Meetings with Nortis and Rebu Studio to align branding strategies.
• Conversations with the architectural firm to understand the project’s differentiators.
• Location scouting to analyze light conditions, key filming spots, and logistics.
Visual Direction

Bioma’s concept revolves around biophilia, and this was the central theme of our creative direction. We made sure to immerse nature into every frame—whether through direct shots of the lush green spaces or subtle foreground elements.

To achieve this:
We used Golden Hour lighting to enhance warmth and natural beauty.
Integrated slow camera movements to evoke tranquility and elegance.
Captured textures, architectural details, and lifestyle moments to communicate both sophistication and livability.
Production Execution

The production was split into two intensive shooting days:

 Day 1 – Photography
• High-end architectural and interior photography.
• Detail shots emphasizing materials, light reflections, and space fluidity.
• Drone captures to showcase the unique green areas from above.

 Day 2 – Film Production
• Two versions of the film: one featuring models, another purely architectural.
• A mix of steady camera moves and handheld shots to balance structure with spontaneity.
• Integration of organic interactions, with models engaging naturally with the space.

Technical Highlights:
• Filmed with Blackmagic Cinema Camera (Open Gate mode) to allow flexible cropping for both horizontal and vertical formats.
• Used a slider instead of Ronin for ultra-smooth movements, ensuring stability in architectural shots.
• Leveraged specialized software to track sun movement, ensuring optimal lighting conditions.

Post-Production & Delivery
• Two 1-minute films (with and without models).
• Three vertical 15-second cuts optimized for social media.
• 55 high-resolution photos covering architecture, lifestyle, and details.

The Result

The project was a huge success, with Nortis praising not only the final outcome but also the collaborative and structured workflow. One of the most memorable moments was when the client got so engaged in the process that they filmed a shot themselves, reinforcing how immersive and engaging the experience was.

Our approach ensured that the brand’s new identity—warm, elegant, and humanized—was fully captured in every visual element.
